The 2026 NFL Draft kicks off in Pittsburgh tonight (8 p.m. ET, ESPN/NFL Network), and the smokescreens have been spreading like wildfire all week as the Las Vegas Raiders get set to make the only definite pick of the draft, with Indiana's Fernando Mendoza a lock to go No. 1.

After Mendoza goes off the board, nothing is certain, and building off my NFL mock draft 1.0 and NFL mock draft 2.0, my 2026 NFL Mock Draft 3.0 projects two major trades in the top 10 picks.

Below, I break down the top prospects' potential landing spots with RAS scores, pro comparisons, projected trades, and the best draft odds for all 32 teams' top picks as part of our 2026 NFL Draft predictions.

🔍 2026 NFL mock draft: Round 1 pick-by-pick analysis

Odds via the best sports betting sitesAges at the time of the 2026 NFL Draft (April 23). RAS stands for Relative Athletic Score.

1. Las Vegas Raiders - Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

  • Prospect profile: 6'5" | 236 lbs | 22 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Carson Palmer
  • Odds to be No. 1 pick: -20000 via DraftKings

What more needs to be said about Mendoza? He's the Heisman winner and just led the Hoosiers to the most improbable national championship win in college football history while ranking No. 1 nationally in QBR (90.3) and No. 5 in the Power Four in adjusted completion rate (79%). The Indiana star is the only QB worthy of going in the first round and has the mental makeup that both Tom Brady and Klint Kubiak will love.

2. New York Jets - Arvell Reese, EDGE/LB, Ohio State

  • Prospect profile: 6'4" | 241 lbs | 20 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: More raw Micah Parsons/smaller Willie McGinest
  • Odds to be No. 2 pick: +120 via FanDuel

Will it be Arvell Reese or David Bailey? Reese has a higher ceiling as the more versatile and freakier athlete, and GM Darren Mougey comes from a Denver Broncos front office that won a Super Bowl ring thanks to the freakish Von Miller. Reese's ability to rush the passer with power (while bending better than Bailey), set a physical edge in the run game, spy QBs, and drop in coverage makes him a rare do-it-all player.

While Reese wasn't as productive as Bailey due to his role, he averaged 0.23 pressures per pass rush, slightly higher than Bailey (0.21).

➡️ Arvell Reese prospect profile & scouting report

3. 🔁 TRADE: Washington Commanders (from Arizona) - David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech

  • Prospect profile: 6'4" | 251 lbs | 22 years old | RAS: 9.65
  • Pro comparison: Nik Bonitto
  • Odds to be No. 3 pick: +250 via FanDuel

With GM Adam Peters in win-now mode as Jayden Daniels enters the third year of his rookie contract, could he make a splashy move and get Dan Quinn a defensive weapon? Bailey is as twitchy as they come and plays with a relentless motor. He's arguably the most pro-ready pass rusher in the class, and both Quinn (Micah Parsons) and Peters (Nick Bosa) come from places where they saw the impact of premier pass rushers. Bailey was No. 1 nationally in sacks (14.5) and No. 2 in pressures (81) in 2025.

Trade specifics: The Commanders trade pick No. 7 (Round 1) and a 2027 first-round pick to the Cardinals for pick No. 3 (Round 1)

➡️ David Bailey prospect profile & scouting report

4. Tennessee Titans - Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

  • Prospect profile: 6'0" | 212 lbs | 20 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Edgerrin James
  • Odds to be No. 4 pick: +120 via FanDuel

If both Reese and Bailey are off the board, Robert Saleh and Mike Borgonzi will have a tough time passing on Jeremiyah Love. Love is a top-three player in the class, and in a draft that's weaker up top, it's easier to get over the lack of positional value in selecting a running back this early. The All-American is one of the best running back prospects in recent memory, too. He averaged 4.5 yards per carry after contact in 2025 and finished No. 2 in the Power Four in 15-plus-yard runs (23).

➡️ Jeremiyah Love prospect profile & scouting report

5. New York Giants - Caleb Downs, SAF, Ohio State

  • Prospect profile: 6'0" | 206 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Bigger Budda Baker
  • Odds to be No. 5 pick: +460 via FanDuel

The John Harbaugh-led New York Giants have their pick of Ohio State superstar defenders, with both Caleb Downs and Sonny Styles still on the board here. While they can't go wrong taking either, when Harbaugh was with the Baltimore Ravens, his team had a history of taking defensive backs in Round 1 (six times). Downs is the exact leader New York needs on the backend, too. His football IQ and physicality are through the roof, and he was born to quarterback Dennard Wilson's defense.

➡️ Caleb Downs prospect profile & scouting report

6. 🔁 TRADE: Dallas Cowboys (from Cleveland) - Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State

  • Prospect profile: 6'5" | 244 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: 9.99
  • Pro comparison: Karlos Dansby
  • Odds to be No. 6 pick: +500 via DraftKings

If Styles is still available when the Cleveland Browns pick at No. 6, Jerry Jones and Co. won't be able to help themselves from trading up. The Dallas Cowboys are desperate for defensive help, and Styles is the type of off-ball linebacker worth taking in the top 10. He looks like he was created in a lab with his size and movement ability, and he can be an elite run defender with his instincts and take-on skills (he missed just two tackles in 2025). Styles will wear the green dot from Day 1 in Dallas.

Trade specifics: The Cowboys trade picks No. 12 (Round 1), No. 20 (Round 1), and a 2027 second-round pick to the Browns for pick No. 6 (Round 1)

➡️ Sonny Styles prospect profile & scouting report

7. 🔁 TRADE: Arizona Cardinals (from Washington) - Francis Mauigoa, OL, Miami

  • Prospect profile: 6'5" | 329 lbs | 20 years old | RAS: 8.75
  • Pro comparison: Darnell Wright
  • Odds to be No. 7 pick: +2200 via FanDuel

With so many holes on the roster, it seems likely that GM Monti Ossenfort wants to trade back and acquire additional future draft capital, especially in a weaker draft class. In this scenario, the Arizona Cardinals add another first-round pick for a potentially loaded QB class in 2027, and still nab a plug-and-play offensive lineman in Francis Mauigoa. Mauigoa can start at right tackle as a rookie and immediately give head coach Mike LaFleur a road grader to run behind.

Trade specifics: The Cardinals trade pick No. 3 (Round 1) to the Commanders for pick No. 7 (Round 1) and a 2027 first-round pick

8. New Orleans Saints - Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State

  • Prospect profile: 6'2" | 192 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Bigger DeVonta Smith
  • Odds to be No. 8 pick: +460 via FanDuel

This player-team fit makes plenty of sense for several reasons. First of all, New Orleans Saints GM Mickey Loomis loves drafting Ohio State players in Round 1 (he's done it four times). Second, the Saints need a wide receiver opposite former Buckeye Chris Olave as Kellen Moore tries to develop Tyler Shough. Carnell Tate gives Shough a big-play threat capable of winning 50/50 balls (85.7% contested-catch rate in 2025) with top-tier ball skills (zero drops in 2025).

➡️ Carnell Tate prospect profile & scouting report

9. Kansas City Chiefs - Rueben Bain Jr., DL, Miami

  • Prospect profile: 6'2" | 263 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Brandon Graham
  • Odds to be No. 9 pick: +420 via FanDuel

If Rueben Bain Jr. slips down the board due to his 1st percentile arm length (30 7/8"), the Kansas City Chiefs are a good bet to jump at taking the Hurricanes' star. Bain is a violent player who led the nation in pressures (83) and was unblockable in the College Football Playoff with his power and weaponized hands. Steve Spagnuolo loves power rushers, and KC isn't as tied to arm length thresholds as other teams ... GM Brett Veach selected George Karlaftis in Round 1 with 16th percentile arms (32 5/8").

➡️ Rueben Bain Jr. prospect profile & scouting report

10. New York Giants (from Cincinnati) - Vega Ioane, OG, Penn State

  • Prospect profile: 6'4" | 320 lbs | 22 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Mike Iupati
  • Odds to be No. 10 pick: +800 via DraftKings

There's bound to be at least one surprise pick in the top 10, given how much this draft class seems to lack consensus up top. While Vega Ioane doesn't play a premium position, he's the best offensive lineman in the draft class. Ioane is a mauler in the run game and didn't give up a sack in his final two seasons at Penn State. The All-American would give Harbaugh a high-floor starter at left guard to help keep Jaxson Dart clean and elevate the rushing attack.

11. Miami Dolphins - Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU

  • Prospect profile: 6'0" | 187 lbs | 22 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Marshon Lattimore
  • Odds to be No. 11 pick: +600 via DraftKings

This pick makes far too much sense if Mansoor Delane is still available when the Miami Dolphins are on the clock. New head coach Jeff Hafley cut his teeth as a defensive backs coach in the NFL and at the college level, and Delane is the top cornerback in the class. Miami has one of the worst secondaries in the league, and Delane would give them a press-man cornerback with technically sound footwork and playmaking ball skills. The LSU All-American didn't allow a touchdown in 2025.

12. 🔁 TRADE: Cleveland Browns (from Dallas) - Spencer Fano, OL, Utah

  • Prospect profile: 6'5" | 311 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: 9.80
  • Pro comparison: Alijah Vera-Tucker
  • Odds to be No. 12 pick: +1000 via DraftKings

Trading back appears to be what Browns GM Andrew Berry wants to do, and if he can move back six spots and add a first-round pick while still taking a top offensive lineman, there will be reason to celebrate in Cleveland. New head coach Todd Monken will need to lean on the run game in his first season, and Spencer Fano gives him a fluid mover on the offensive line who can play tackle or guard. Fano allowed just five pressures and gave up zero sacks at Utah in 2025, too.

Trade specifics: The Browns trade pick No. 6 (Round 1) to the Cowboys for picks No. 12 (Round 1), No. 20 (Round 1), and a 2027 second-round pick

13. Los Angeles Rams (from Atlanta) - Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State

  • Prospect profile: 6'2" | 203 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Amari Cooper
  • Odds to be No. 13 pick: +900 via DraftKings

The draft stock of Jordyn Tyson remains a mystery, with some reports implying he'll go top 10 and others pointing to his injury history as a red flag. But with Sean McVay and Les Snead expected to add a young receiver early in the draft, the Los Angeles Rams are a nice landing spot for Tyson. McVay will love Tyson's route-running ability and his versatility to play outside or in the slot. With Puka Nacua in a contract year and Davante Adams turning 34, this is a slam-dunk fit.

➡️ Jordyn Tyson prospect profile & scouting report

14. Baltimore Ravens - Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon

  • Prospect profile: 6'3" | 241 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: 9.52
  • Pro comparison: Vernon Davis
  • Odds to be No. 14 pick: +700 via FanDuel

It's a new era in Baltimore as Jesse Minter takes over for Harbaugh, but GM Eric DeCosta is running the show on draft night, and he went to the Ozzie Newsome school of taking the best player available. While tight end isn't the most glaring need for the Ravens, adding a weapon like Kenyon Sadiq gives them a perfect replacement at F-tight end for Isaiah Likley. Sadiq can be a ball winner down the seam for Lamar Jackson, create after the catch with his explosiveness, and he's a more than willing blocker.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Keldric Faulk, DL, Auburn

  • Prospect profile: 6'6" | 276 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: 9.11
  • Pro comparison: Rashan Gary
  • Odds to be No. 15 pick: +750 via DraftKings

Few GMs are more addicted to selecting freakishly large and explosive defensive linemen early than Jason Licht. And with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in need of help in the front seven, I can't imagine Licht passing on Keldric Faulk. For as raw as Faulk is, he's dripping with potential. He's a heavy-handed pass rusher who played all over Auburn's D-line (from 9-tech to nose tackle), and he can be an impact run defender for Todd Bowles as a rookie.

16. New York Jets (from Indianapolis) - Makai Lemon, WR, USC

  • Prospect profile: 5'11" | 192 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Amon-Ra St. Brown light
  • Odds to be No. 16 pick: +1100 via FanDuel

The best outcome for Mougey is having one of the top wide receivers still on the board when the Jets make their second pick of the first round. New York could be in a position to draft a QB early in 2027, and adding a weapon like Makai Lemon in the slot to complement Garrett Wilson outside would be ideal. Lemon won the Biletnikoff Award in 2025 after ranking in the top five nationally in first down receptions (50) and registering just a 2.5% drop rate. He's a high-floor player.

➡️ Makai Lemon prospect profile & scouting report

17. Detroit Lions - Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia

  • Prospect profile: 6'7" | 315 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: 9.99
  • Pro comparison: Kolton Miller
  • Odds to be No. 17 pick: +460 via FanDuel

It would be a shock if Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell don't target an offensive tackle in the first round, and Monroe Freeling has the most tantalizing athletic tools among the available options. Though just a one-year starter, the way Freeling moves and climbs to make second-level blocks jumps off the tape. He's raw and needs time to develop in pass pro, but adding Freeling at right tackle (with Penei Sewell shifting to the left side) would give Detroit two of the freakier athletes at offensive tackle.

18. Minnesota Vikings - Dillon Thieneman, SAF, Oregon

  • Prospect profile: 6'0" | 201 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: 9.71
  • Pro comparison: Faster Xavier McKinney
  • Odds to be No. 18 pick: +320 via DraftKings

One of the most popular player-team mock draft picks in the entire NFL draft, Dillon Thieneman can be the Harrison Smith replacement for Brian Flores' defense. Flores is the most blitz-happy coordinator in the league, and he needs a safety who can protect the backend with his range while still also being a willing downhill run defender. Thieneman has the versatility to line up all over, too, playing 53.5% of his snaps in the box at Oregon in 2025 but 71.2% of his snaps as a true free safety in two years at Purdue.

19. Carolina Panthers - KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M

  • Prospect profile: 6'0" | 196 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Zay Flowers
  • Odds to be No. 19 pick: +850 via DraftKings

The Carolina Panthers and Dave Canales are going to live and die by Bryce Young for the foreseeable future, so GM Dan Morgan needs to continue to add weapons around the former No. 1 overall pick. This would be the third straight first-round pick Carolina spends on a wide receiver, but it's worth it. KC Concepcion is the most dynamic route runner in the class and as explosive as any of the top receivers with the ball in his hands. Pairing him with Tetairoa McMillan would be a lot of fun.

20. 🔁 TRADE: Cleveland Browns (from Green Bay via Dallas) - Omar Cooper Jr., WR, Indiana

  • Prospect profile: 6'0" | 199 lbs | 22 years old | RAS: 9.15
  • Pro comparison: Emeka Egbuka
  • Odds to be No. 20 pick: +3500 via FanDuel

After using their first pick on offensive line help, the Browns can use the second pick they received in the trade back with the Cowboys on much-needed pass-catching help. Omar Cooper Jr. is among the most physical wide receivers in the draft class, both with the ball in his hands and as a blocker. He has rare contact balance for a receiver and was fourth nationally in forced missed tackles on receptions in 2025 (27). He can start in the slot as a rookie.

Trade specifics: The Browns trade pick No. 6 (Round 1) to the Cowboys for picks No. 12 (Round 1), No. 20 (Round 1), and a 2027 second-round pick

21. Pittsburgh Steelers - Kadyn Proctor, OL, Alabama

  • Prospect profile: 6'7" | 352 lbs | 20 years old | RAS: 8.79
  • Pro comparison: Orlando Brown Jr.
  • Odds to be No. 21 pick: +700 via DraftKings

While Aaron Rodgers' future remains unclear, there's not a QB in this draft class worth this pick (sorry, Ty Simpson). And with the top wide receivers all already off the board, the offensive line should be the focus for Omar Khan and Andy Weidl. Kadyn Proctor is a mammoth of a human being with surprising athleticism. He bullies defenders in the run game with his power, and his sheer size helps him slow down pass rushers. Proctor could play left guard or left tackle, with Broderick Jones' health in doubt.

22. Los Angeles Chargers - Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee

  • Prospect profile: 6'1" | 188 lbs | 20 years old | RAS: 9.67
  • Pro comparison: Denzel Ward
  • Odds to be No. 22 pick: +2200 via DraftKings

If Jim Harbaugh is going to have the Los Angeles Chargers contending in an AFC West that's loaded with QBs, LA needs to add to its secondary. It's difficult to gauge Jermod McCoy's stock as he comes off a torn ACL. Rumors have increased as of late that the top 15 talent could slide, but Chargers GM Joe Hortiz could end that slide and buy low on a borderline blue-chip talent. When healthy, McCoy looks like a future Pro Bowler with his ability to mirror and match receivers in man coverage.

23. Philadelphia Eagles - Blake Miller, OT, Clemson

  • Prospect profile: 6'7" | 317 lbs | 22 years old | RAS: 9.90
  • Pro comparison: Taylor Decker
  • Odds to be No. 23 pick: +1000 via FanDuel

Howie Roseman tends to draft trench players early, even when it's not the Philadelphia Eagles' biggest need. With Lane Johnson turning 36, Blake Miller can be the future starting right tackle in the City of Brotherly Love. Miller checks every box physically (34 1/4" arms, 90th percentile broad jump), and he's an iron man who started 54 games at Clemson, and only allowed three sacks over his final two seasons. Miller has the toughness and physicality that Eagles' fans will love.

24. Cleveland Browns (from Jacksonville) - Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, SAF, Toledo

  • Prospect profile: 6'3" | 201 lbs | 22 years old | RAS: 9.01
  • Pro comparison: Justin Reid
  • Odds to be No. 24 pick: +3500 via FanDuel

After addressing two of their biggest needs on offense with their first two picks (Fano, Cooper), the Browns bolster their defense here with a preposterously large safety. Monken comes from Baltimore, where they had Kyle Hamilton, so you have to think he'll like the idea of drafting Emmanuel McNeil-Warren. EMW can be a chess piece for defensive coordinator Mike Rutenberg, with his versatility to be an enforcer in the box and his fluidity and instincts allowing him to play single-high.

25. Chicago Bears - Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah

  • Prospect profile: 6'6" | 313 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: 9.77
  • Pro comparison: Abe Lucas
  • Odds to be No. 25 pick: +1200 via FanDuel

Could the Chicago Bears use help on their defensive line? Absolutely. But this is the Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams show in the Windy City now, and adding offensive line help is a must. Ozzy Trapilo ruptured his patellar tendon in the playoffs, so taking Caleb Lomu could help remedy the situation while giving the Bears one of the smoothest movers at tackle in the draft. Lomu is raw and needs to get stronger, but his ceiling as a pass protector is high with his sweet feet.

26. Buffalo Bills - TJ Parker, EDGE, Clemson

  • Prospect profile: 6'3" | 263 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: 9.39
  • Pro comparison: George Karlaftis
  • Odds to be No. 26 pick: +1300 via FanDuel

Even with Brandon Beane signing Bradley Chubb in free agency, the Buffalo Bills can still afford to bolster their pass rush. Adding TJ Parker alongside Chubb and Greg Rousseau gives Bills defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard a three-headed monster of powerful pass rushers, and it takes pressure off Parker by putting him on a team where he can be a rotational piece early. Parker's motor and ability to convert speed to power should help him add juice to Buffalo's defense.

27. San Francisco 49ers - Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State

  • Prospect profile: 6'6" | 321 lbs | 22 years old | RAS: 9.86
  • Pro comparison: Taylor Moton
  • Odds to be No. 27 pick: +1000 via FanDuel

Though the San Francisco 49ers resolved the Trent Williams situation and signed the future Hall of Famer to a two-year, $50 million extension, Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch may still want to take a tackle in the first round. Williams is turning 38, and Colton McKivitz shouldn't stop them from addressing the position. Max Iheanachor is a gifted mover who's still new to football. He's perfect for a zone scheme run game, and his footwork gives him a high ceiling in pass pro.

28. Houston Texans - Kayden McDonald, IDL, Ohio State

  • Prospect profile: 6'2" | 326 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Travis Jones
  • Odds to be No. 28 pick: +950 via FanDuel

The Houston Texans don't have any glaring holes on defense, but the idea of adding the best run-stuffing defensive tackle in the draft class on a defensive line that already has the best pass-rushing duo in the league is too good to pass up. Kayden McDonald can play on early downs as a space eater for DeMeco Ryans' defense. He's a bowling ball of a human who wins with leverage and power, and he had the best run stop rate among defensive tackles in 2025 (13.8%).

29. Kansas City Chiefs (from LA Rams) - Chris Johnson, CB, San Diego State

  • Prospect profile: 6'0" | 193 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: 9.84
  • Pro comparison: Jaire Alexander
  • Odds to be No. 29 pick: +600 via FanDuel

As Andy Reid prepares to start the season without Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs will need to rely more heavily on their defense to keep them in games until their star QB is back. After taking Bain at No. 9, Veach needs to come back and select a cornerback, and who better than one of the most pro-ready defenders in the class? Chris Johnson is a coverage savant with elite eyes in zone and crisp footwork in man coverage. He would compete to start opposite Nohl Williams as a rookie.

30. Miami Dolphins (from Denver) - Denzel Boston, WR, Washington

  • Prospect profile: 6'4" | 212 lbs | 22 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Courtland Sutton
  • Odds to be No. 30 pick: +1300 via FanDuel

If Miami can select a cornerback and a wide receiver with their two first-round picks, they'll be in good shape, especially if they end up with Delane and Denzel Boston. New Dolphins GM Jon-Eric Sullivan comes from a Green Bay Packers organization that values size at wide receiver, and Boston is the best big receiver in the class. With his ball skills and body control, he can be a 50/50 nightmare for opponents (76.9% contested catch rate in 2025). Boston would give Malik Willis a go-to X.

31. New England Patriots - Akheem Mesidor, EDGE, Miami

  • Prospect profile: 6'3" | 259 lbs | 25 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Tuli Tuipulotu
  • Odds to be No. 31 pick: +950 via FanDuel

With the top seven offensive tackles already off the board, the New England Patriots may need to think about adding in the trenches on the other side of the ball. While Akheem Mesidor is an older prospect, he's ready-made to make an impact as a rookie. His deep pass rush plan and violent hands helped him finish fourth nationally in pressures (67) and third in sacks (12.5). Mike Vrabel will love the energy the Canadian brings to the field, too.

32. Seattle Seahawks - Colton Hood, CB, Tennessee

  • Prospect profile: 6'0" | 193 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: 9.66
  • Pro comparison: Charvarius Ward
  • Odds to be No. 32 pick: +700 via FanDuel

The Super Bowl champions may look to trade back with a team that wants to move back into the first round for the fifth-year option, but if John Schneider and Mike Macdonald stick and pick, cornerback has to be on their minds. Colton Hood would be a perfect pick at corner for this defense, with his length and feistiness in man coverage. Hood's clean footwork and twitchy athleticism allow him to click and close in a hurry to make plays, and he's not shy about getting involved against the run.

🚫 NFL teams without first-round picks: Who will top selections be?

Pick Team Player (POS) School
41 Cincinnati Bengals CJ Allen (LB) Georgia
47 Indianapolis Colts De'Zhaun Stribling (WR) Ole Miss
48 Atlanta Falcons Gabe Jacas (EDGE) Illinois
52 Green Bay Packers Brandon Cisse (CB) South Carolina
56 Jacksonville Jaguars Gennings Dunker (OL) Iowa
62 Denver Broncos Josiah Trotter (LB) Missouri

41. Cincinnati Bengals - CJ Allen, LB, Georgia

  • Prospect profile: 6'1" | 230 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Ernest Jones
  • Odds for Bengals first pick to be LB: +370 via DraftKings

The Cincinnati Bengals' trade for Dexter Lawrence signals they're putting all their chips in, which means they need to add more to the back seven of their defense. Linebacker was a problem last season for Cincinnati, and adding a high-floor player like CJ Allen could help solve the issue. Allen's an institutional thumper who can immediately upgrade the Bengals' run defense. He has a high IQ and would wear the green dot for defensive coordinator Al Golden.

47. Indianapolis Colts - De'Zhaun Stribling, WR, Ole Miss

Between trading Michael Pittman Jr. to the Steelers and Alec Pierce being sidelined with an ankle injury for the next few months, Indianapolis Colts GM Chris Ballard may want to snag a pass catcher early in this deep wide receiver class. De'Zhaun Stribling was the most underrated receiver in the class, but it seems increasingly likely he'll go top 50. Stribling can win vertically with his 4.36 speed, and he has some of the best hands in the class (1.8% drop rate).

48. Atlanta Falcons - Gabe Jacas, EDGE, Illinois

  • Prospect profile: 6'4" | 260 lbs | 22 years old | RAS: 9.59
  • Pro comparison: Matthew Judon
  • Odds for Falcons first pick to be DL/EDGE: +175 via DraftKings

The reason the Atlanta Falcons don't have a first-round pick this year is also the reason they need to target a pass rusher with their first pick (James Pearce Jr.). There are several edge players Falcons GM Ian Cunningham could consider on Day 2, but Gabe Jacas is one of the safer bets. He's a wrecking ball with his effort, and his hands are some of the heaviest in the class. Jacas is the rare four-year starter at one school, too, racking up 142 pressures and 27 sacks at Illinois.

52. Green Bay Packers - Brandon Cisse, CB, South Carolina

  • Prospect profile: 6'0" | 189 lbs | 20 years old | RAS: 9.24
  • Pro comparison: Alontae Taylor
  • Odds for Packers first pick to be CB: +165 via DraftKings

More than anything, Packers GM Brian Gutekunst needs to add a cornerback early in the draft, and preferably one with a high ceiling. Brandon Cisse fits the bill as one of the youngest players in the class and one of the most athletic (93rd percentile vertical jump and 91st percentile broad jump). Cisse, nicknamed "Glitch" for his athleticism, is a feisty man, a cornerback with loose hips and light feet. He may not be a starter as a rookie, but he has Pro Bowl upside.

56. Jacksonville Jaguars - Gennings Dunker, OL, Iowa

  • Prospect profile: 6'5" | 319 lbs | 23 years old | RAS: 9.57
  • Pro comparison: Mason McCormick
  • Odds for Jaguars first pick to be OL: +370 via DraftKings

Without a first-round pick this year after trading it to move up for Travis Hunter last year, Jacksonville Jaguars GM James Gladstone could be focused on hitting a double and finding a high-floor starter with this pick. While Gennings Dunker's coffee consumption and diet are hard to fathom, his play on the field isn't; he's a mullet-wearing people mover. Dunker is a tone-setter as a run blocker, and a move inside to guard in the pros should help alleviate some of his issues in pass pro.

62. Denver Broncos - Josiah Trotter, LB, Missouri

  • Prospect profile: 6'2" | 237 lbs | 21 years old | RAS: N/A
  • Pro comparison: Jordyn Brooks
  • Odds for Broncos first pick to be LB: +225 via DraftKings

While the Denver Broncos have one of the best defenses in the NFL, they can afford to add help up the spine, whether that's at defensive tackle or linebacker. With Alex Singleton turning 33, Sean Payton might want to find his future replacement in the form of another tackle machine. Josiah Trotter plays with a mean streak like his father, Jeremiah Trotter. The younger Trotter has some of the best instincts in the class and should be an immediate plus against the run.
