LaMelo Ball Over 4.5 three-pointers made (+110)

The most predictable thing we know about Ball's game is that he's going to shoot a lot of 3-pointers.

He ranks 1st in the NBA in 3-point attempts per game (15.4) over the last two weeks and has attempted 16 in each of his last three outings. He's shooting 36.8% from beyond the arc on the season, so he should make five-plus today.

FanDuel lists Ball Over 4.5 three-pointers made at +110, but this bet is good up to -105 on the best sports betting sites. I also feature this bet in my Hornets vs. Magic player props.

Kon Knueppel Under 16.5 points (-111)

Despite having all the motivation in the world to score points - between being in a two-man race with Cooper Flagg for Rookie of the Year and playing in an elimination game - Knueppel has struggled recently.

He has scored 14 or fewer points in five consecutive games and was even benched in key moments down the stretch in the 9-10 game. In such an important contest today, I expect the Hornets to lean on Ball and Miles Bridges. Knueppel Under 16.5 points is -111 at DraftKings, but I would play this up to -125 on the best NBA betting sites.

Devin Booker Over 26.5 points (-112)

I was shocked that Booker was so timid on Tuesday - I expect him to go back to his usual self today. He ranks 4th in the NBA in field goal attempts per game (20.5) over the last two weeks, and I doubt we see a conservative Booker in a second straight play-in game.

FanDuel lists his Over 26.5 points at -112, but I'd play this up to -125 on the best sports betting apps. I back Booker's teammate to score 19+ with my Warriors vs. Suns prediction, while Shane Thurston features two Suns in his Warriors vs. Suns player props.

💡 How I'm betting NBA player props today

I risked 0.91 units on Ball to make 5+ three-pointers. I would've risked more, as I believe the line is mispriced, but FanDuel is among the best sportsbooks at pricing player props, so I didn't want to be too aggressive.

I risked 0.56 units on my other two players, as while I like the bets directionally, they're not priced too far off from where I'd set them.
