The 2026 Masters odds have settled into shape after the week's early wave of betting action. Scottie Scheffler remains the betting favorite as he seeks a third green jacket at Augusta National Golf Course, but his odds have lengthened and sit at +600 via Caesars. A winning $10 bet would return a profit of $60 at an implied win probability of 14.29%.

Scheffler leads the 91-man Masters field by a sizable - but decreasing - margin. Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, and defending Masters champion Rory McIlroy are next on the outright betting board. Below, we break down the outright, top finish, and first-round leader odds from our best Masters betting sites.

Our Dustin Saracini offers his best Masters picks and predictions and Masters prop bets, including an outright winner, sleeper, and more.

Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau are both shorter than Rory McIlroy in the outright market as well as the top finishes.

Hideki Matsuyama has moved ahead of Collin Morikawa, who carries injury risk, into 10th on the oddsboard.

🏆 Masters betting favorite: Scottie Scheffler (+600)

👶 Is Scottie Scheffler playing the 2026 Masters?

Yes, Scottie Scheffler will play the 2026 Masters. He remains the +600 betting favorite to win the tournament.

The two-time Masters champion withdrew from the Texas Children's Houston Open and didn't play the Valero Texas Open amid the birth of his second child. His son, Remy, was born 10 days ago and is reportedly in Augusta, Ga., with his father and mother.

Scheffler, the No. 1 player in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), opened at +500 to win the 2026 Masters a year ago. Those odds dipped to +350 by the end of the last PGA Tour season, after he won his third (PGA Championship) and fourth (Open Championship) career majors.

Scheffler claimed his 20th career PGA Tour victory this year in his season debut at The American Express. All of those wins - including two Masters victories - have come since February 2022.

Despite an un-Scheffler-like start to the 2026 season, Scottie still leads all PGA Tour pros with 2.68 strokes gained: total per round since the start of the year, according to Data Golf. His typically elite iron play has dropped off slightly but has been picked up by his short game (0.69 SG: around-the-green) and putting stroke (0.68 SG: putting).

While I'm not as interested in betting on Scheffler as some of the other favorites with longer odds, his +600 odds from Caesars represent value compared to the +350 odds that were offered for much of the past year. I'm not concerned about his lengthy layoff (or his sub-standard start to the season), and I trust his elite course history at Augusta National with 3.26 strokes gained per round.

💰️ Masters bets to make before Round 1

Looking for more plays to sweat prior to Thursday? I've got you covered with my Masters first-round leader predictions and Masters parlay picks, while Saracini keeps things moving with his projected cut line predictions.

⛽ J.J. Spaun Masters odds (+7200)

J.J. Spaun, the defending U.S. Open winner, won the Valero Texas Open in the final PGA Tour event before the 2026 Masters. He won by 1 stroke with a 72-hole score of -17.

Spaun finished 50th in last year's Masters. That was his first appearance at Augusta National since a debut T-23 result in 2022.

His Masters odds of +7200 from DraftKings represent a 1.37% win probability. While I think his chances of winning are better than that, I don't consider him a threat to win the Masters. I'm more interested in his +495 odds for a top-10 finish.

💪 My best bet to win the Masters: Bryson DeChambeau (+1100)

Bryson DeChambeau leads my Masters power rankings and is my best bet to win the 2026 Masters, and I'd bet him down to +900 in the outright betting market.

A two-time winner on the LIV Golf Invitational Series this year - in 72-hole events - he's gaining strokes in all key metrics and ranks second to only Rory McIlroy with 0.96 strokes gained: off-the-tee since January 1.

The two-time major winner finished in the top 10 of three of the four major championships last year. His T-5 result in the Masters was the best of his career at Augusta National Golf Course, and followed a T-6 result the year before.

I recommended three golfers with significantly longer odds with my Masters long shots and sleeper picks.

👀 Masters betting insights

Here's how the betting action is coming in on the 2026 Masters at BetMGM:

🎟️ Most tickets 💰 Most handle ⚠️ Biggest liabilities
1 Scottie Scheffler (9.8%) Scottie Scheffler (17.1%) Bryson DeChambeau
2 Bryson DeChambeau (9.1%) Bryson DeChambeau (10.6%) Scottie Scheffler

ℹ️ Augusta National Golf Course info

Here's what to know about Augusta National Golf Course:

Augusta National Golf Course
Par 72
Length 7,565
Greens Bentgrass
Architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie (and Bobby Jones)
Key trait Six par 4s at least 450 yards

The most famous golf course in the world, Augusta National routinely poses a stiff test for the world's best golfers. The last five tournament winners finished with a 72-hole score between -10 and -12. Dustin Johnson's -20 winning score in 2020 is the outlier with that tournament played in the fall amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Augusta National is famous for elevation changes, fast and undulating greens, and lengthy par 4s with six playing at least 450 yards. Dogleg fairways and well-placed fairway bunkers force lesser clubs off the tee. Scoring must be done on the four par 5s.

🗝️ Masters key stats

Here are the stats I'm looking at for my Masters bets:

Stat Weight Why it matters for Augusta National
Strokes gained: approach 25% Toughest greens in golf require approach shots to the proper tier
Strokes gained: around-the-green 20% Getting up and down is essential while avoiding wasted shots and high scores
Proximity: 150-175 yards 15% The most common approach range the last three years
Par-4 efficiency: 450-plus yards 15% All but 1 of 6 such holes played over par last year; any strokes gained are key
Scrambling 15% See the above on approach and short game; recovery is a must
3-putt avoidance 10% More predictable and sustainable than SG: putting

💡 How I'm betting the 2026 Masters

I've placed five Masters futures bets (see below) since January 29, attacking the outright market during other tournaments before the Masters odds were adjusted. I'll look to add one or maybe two outright bets this week - most likely choosing between Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy.

While managing my bankroll, I'll round out my betting card with finishing position bets and various other props. These will include top region/nationality props, tournament matchups, and my personal favorite, the first-round leader market. I'll bet these markets later in the week, as they're less prone to fluctuation.
